Jones's business school class is made up of about 1/3 Americans, 1/3 Indians, and the rest are from everywhere else on earth. So, the Indian students got together and organized a Diwali party. Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights. I would compare it to a New Year's Eve party, but with lots of yummy Indian food, Bollywood-style dancing, skits and music. We were thrilled to go and experience more of the Indian culture. Jones and I both love Indian food. Every Friday night we get Indian take-away from Standard Tandoori. We loved the opportunity to take the kids out on a Saturday night and have some fun.
The night started off with a skit, some dancing, and some music. Then, we had food. After eating, they had a dance floor set up with a DJ playing some Indian music. EC and A had a blast dancing the night away. I must say that EC's outfit was a huge hit. She looked so cute, and she worked it on the dance floor!

That is cool! Reminded me of the Office episode where they celebrated Diwali. EC is as cute as ever! Where did you get her costume? Miss you!
